Never thought India and Pakistan would be the first two nuclear armed countries to go to war with each other. But looks like it’s happening

Surprised? You do realize they have been fighting for centuries. 2019 was the most recent. Both countries have had nuclear weapons since the early’70’s!

They have been taking pop shots at each other in Kashmir. India has now started launching air attacks inside Pakistan.

As long as we arent involved, funding either side, (or both sides), troops on the ground or having nukes launched at us I dont care.

This is nothing new.

Years ago I watched a documentary about the global effects of a nuclear war. They actually used India and Pakistan as an example. The scientists in the documentary said that if India and Pakistan were to detonate a total of a dozen nukes, then the instant global effect could be disastrous. Basically, the nukes would create so much dust and smoke that in a matter of weeks, Earth's entire atmosphere would be filled with it. The dust would reduce the amount of sunlight that hits earth, and as a result, global crop yields would drop. The price of food would skyrocket and the poorest nations would starve, which would most likely spark other wars.
A similar situation occurred in the year 536 when a massive volcano covered the earth with dust and smoke. There are both European and Asian writings from this time period that documented the crop failures and high mortality rate.

There have been thousands of nuclear weapons tested. The earth doesn't care whether these detonations were tests or aimed at real people, the effects on the environment would be the same. If just 12 nukes could destroy the atmosphere then it would have already happened when we were testing them by the hundreds.

What about those baws that march aggressively towards each other at the border? I wonder what they’re up to.
