They’ve been fighting over the Kashmir region forever. Lots of Muslims live in India controlled area of Kashmir. The Indian troops in the area get treated like shite by the Muslims. The Muslims treat the Hindu troops like shite. Tensions eventually escalate and you see an attack like we saw a couple weeks ago. The two countries duke it out for a while and then everyone goes home and licks their wounds for a few years. Rinse and repeat.
