Facebook.. Log in security code

Now Facebook has a new procedure for logging in... You have to have another device that you are signed into your account to get a security code or link to sign into your desktop...
They don't tell you that so you will be stuck in limbo because it is sending notifications to your account that you are not signed in and can't get the link/code notification... How freakin stupid is that? And forget trying to get in touch with anyone at facebook.. I sent an email to the customer service and it got bounced back saying the in box was full and couldn't receive anymore email...

Oh no man.. No harm.. I only use facebook to keep up with some people.. I try not to mingle with the idiots..

Did You setup your account on a different device than the device you are using now?

I found an old tablet that I used about 5 years ago... For some reason I was able to log on to Facebook... I was able to see the notifications that said "Someone was trying to log into your account and we stopped them"... I was able to reply to these notifications with "That's ME that you are stopping from logging into MY account"... I gave it about 15 minutes and was able to log into my account on the PC...
They normally send a code to my email and I enter to login.. This whole new way blows.. They say nothing about being logged into another device to get a notification..

I have a similar issue with my X login. I have to log in EVERY time and I have to authenticate EVERY time. I'd use it a hell of a lot more if I didn't have to do that.
