At 47 wins they surpassed the all time win streak for a 4 year program.
That's impressive at any level.

STERLING, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — On Sunday, LSU-Shreveport baseball added to its long list of accomplishments in this 2025 season, winning the Red River Athletic Conference tournament as well as tacking on its 50th and 51st consecutive wins.
The Pilots defeated Our Lady of the Lake in the first game on Sunday, 12-1, to get the big 50th win and to advance to the final game of the RRAC tournament. An 11-1 win over Louisiana Christian secured the championship title as well as the 51st victory.

Next week, the Pilots will host an opening round of the NAIA National Tournament, the first step towards the title they have been working towards all season.
That's impressive at any level.

The 2025 Avista NAIA World Series is scheduled to take place from May 23 to May 31, 2025. It will be hosted at Harris Field, Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.
Just made reservations in Idaho instead of Omaha

Talk about a fun team to watch. So refreshing to see a team truly playing for the love of the game, and putting up video game numbers while doing something that has never been done. If you get a chance to see these guys play, take it!

I remember LSU - Alex and LSU - Eunice being pretty good for some time. Now LSU- S doing what it's doing? LSU brand is strong strong in Baseball.

used to be sort of a farm club for us, had a a few good players get to the "big leagues" team from there

they'e had a pretty decent program for a few years now, hope it doesn't get spoiled by success, my late mother used to live right across the road from their field, I used to take her over there to watch baseball games in the spring, it was pretty enjoyable watching the kids play just because they loved it, without all of the fanfare and travel ball like showmanship and hoopla

I graduated from LSUS with my masters degree this past August. It is a nice little campus and the baseball facilities are the best sports facilities on campus as well.
Geaux Pilots!

Hire their coach that teaches hitting the baseball.

Not really. Nobody at any level of baseball is that good. They just have a higher level of talent than everyone they have played. Is it impressive if a high school varsity team runs through a 10 year old travel ball league? Lmao.

Impressive - glad they didn’t have Belhaven on the schedule

Would the Pilots take one out of three from LSUBR?

Some people simply can’t comprehend that this is peer beating peer.
It is a remarkable achievement. Sorry that you are too obtuse to understand that.

Only three kids on this team are from the state of Louisiana and all three transferred in from a D1 school. One from LA Tech, one from ULM and one from Northwestern State. Every kid on this roster transferred in from a D1 or a JUCO. No kids straight from high school. One approach that's working at NAIA level. Get older, developed kids with college experience.
