Hamish Abernathy is the reason Suzanne Collins wrote Sunrise on the Reaping that was just released two months ago.
It's the second prequel to Hunger Games and if you are a fan of the movies (and books), it fills out Hamish's character and ties a lot of other characters together as well.

It’s decent but already knowing the ending leaves no room for suspense.

You knew how Andor ended, and Rogue One before that, and it didn't stop that from being some of the best Star Wars since ESB.

Was that a character many needed to know more about?

Not trying to dunk, but I've not heard many talking about the characters outside of generally discussing the movie.

There's 72 other Hunger Games they could tell the stories of, 71 of them that don't involve established characters.

Why not tell those stories?

BTW, Coriolanus is a terrible first name for President Snow. WTF was Collins thinking?

Isn't the movie already in production? I thought the first prequel movie was better than I expected. I read the original books, but I don't think I'm in a hurry to read these right away.
