Is it talent or coaching?

I think it’s coaching. I think that’s why we’re so poor at hitting. I would love to swap hitting coaches with Tennessee.

We are top 10 in the country in Batting Average, and average almost 9 runs per game. We are in a big slump as a whole at the plate right now, but we don’t have poor hitting.

It's philosophy at the plate.

There is a difference between being in a slump at the plate, and not having a good lineup, with good hitting.

We destroyed bad teams and have gotten dominated against every good pitcher we’ve faced.

That’s not a slump. That’s mediocrity.

It’s not coaching there’s only so much you can do as a coach you can’t just go out there and hit the ball they are facing good pitchers

If the entire lineup is not hitting for weeks on end, that’s not a slump.

That’s exactly what it is. The year long numbers are what they are.

And this team is horrid against good pitchers. Hell even crappy ole South Carolina could even muster a run or two against this Tennessee starter

Skip repeatedly said ‘Good pitching beats good hitting’. So many babies on here.

We’re 5th in batting average in conference games. Tennessee 7th.

Anything else?
