I know it’s been discussed before but if a man were to buy several of these cameras. Which one is recommended?

I buy the Pro’s and run 14 of them. I’d look at wise eye and their ranch package if you’re going to run a lot of cams.

The pro gives you a screen and no-glow IR, but loses a little range as a result.

The screen is useless if you’ve set a few of these up before (it’s a breeze), and the no-glow is snake oil to me unless you’re on public and don’t want someone seeing the slight flicker.

My opinion, get the regular 3.0s and spend the difference on lithium packs and solar panels. The biggest upgrade they made is the solar panels now actually charge the lithium packs as opposed to using the camera’s battery as a backup and running off the small battery in the panel itself, so in a sunny spot they are truly set and forget now.

I tried the WiseEye last year. Had 18 of the DataCam 2. Battery life sucks with them. I tried there solar panels and lithium batteries also. Didn’t make a difference

Man that sucks to hear. I have no problems with the Tactacam/battery pack and solar setup.

Only issue is squirrels will eat the cord occasionally so then you have to replace with one of the metal ones.

I have a mix of the 2.0 and 3.0 but all I think are the pros. They all seem to take pretty good pics when I look at the on my phone in the app.

I like the app better than my stealth cams and the price is better. Ended shutting off the stealth cams because they couldn’t get my pricing right. Kept charging me $35 a month for 2 cams. I think it’s $12 for each additional cam you add to Reveal.

I never thought deer would react to the little red light on a camera until this past season. I haven’t had any notice it when it takes a picture, but I’ve had a few get spooked when it’s on video mode. First noticed one in Missouri, then a couple down here. I had a camera over a scrape, got a video of a buck coming up to work the scrape, stops, looks at my camera, and slowly backs up out of frame. The camera is a reveal 2.0.

Yes sir, other than the battery life, everything else about them was awesome.
We tried changing settings and pic delay times. Nothing solved it.
When u got to swap batteries on 14 cameras every weekend that gets costly quick

Yeah the reveal isn’t much better. I was in a bind by not planning so I bought a bunch of lithium batteries and they were dead in a month

Never again will I use batteries.

We run 5 or so now, and I am buying some more due to an a-hole neighbor and his bullshite. I have a mix of 2.0 and 3 and i didnt' get the pro version. I like the 3 much better, no picking a sim card and our cell svc sucks at the farm. I did come across this the other day when i was looking to buy more, very good deal.

Pretty much most brands on video mode will spook deer from my experience. I really like the idea of video over still pics, but since the deer in my area are so skittish I’ve seen enough to turn video off on all my cams. Using still photos on 15 - 30 second intervals, I don’t see that the deer care at all, even the more wary mature bucks.

Herd360 solar panel

Get one of these, i first bought one 2 years ago and have never had to charge it. I have 4 of them and I use these on feed areas where there are a lot of pictures.
I have some of the Tactacam/wiseye solar panels but they last about 2 months if on heavy feed areas. So i switched to using those on travel corridors and just charge them once a year before the season starts.

Sehmua solar cam off of amazon. Give one a try you’ll be surprised at the functionality at that price point.
