Called and got a table. Wonder how the Omakase works there…they look to have a full menu otherwise.

Very well done. You order Omakase by the piece, $8 per. Ordered 10 each.

Went this past weekend and really liked it. Very high quality, they did a good job.

I didn't do omakase.

the only thing I did not like AT ALL was that when asked if we wanted our nigiri plain or dressed, we said sure, dressed. They say there is an upcharge on the menu...but not how much.

Its 4 dollars per order, which seems excessive IMO.

I guess dressed = omakase.

What’s up with drinks? The couple next to us was offered sake…but they never offered us any beer or sake.

As in you say how many courses you want, or you select the individual courses? Not that I have an inherent problem with either, but one of those is omakase and one of those very much isn't

It was one course, that plate was the ‘Omakase’.

The sushi chef asked how many pieces of nigiri we wanted and if there was anything we didn’t like. My friend said he didn’t like Amaebi.

Watching him prep all of that and not hand it over until he was finished with it all was excruciating.

Much different than the Yakuza House.

I would not like that at all. To me, part of the experience of omakase is being able to experience each course on its own. At which point you're holding it all, you're just handing me a nigiri sampler, not providing me an omakase experience.

Yea, I had an inkling that it would be different by reading the reviews…I would call it a ‘chef’s selection’.

It was very good.

This was very odd for us as well. We went for lunch as soon as they opened. Were not given a drink menu which was puzzling. So we just got water.

Couple sat next to us and ordered random beer and sake without a list and were given it. I guess they had been there a few times.
