What's the water look like on Henderson?

Yeah it’s gonna be bad for months. Look up the atchafalaya river stage at butte larose. Wait until it’s on a fall and under 13.5’. It’s currently over 17 and rising.

Fish canals off the East and Northeast side of Lake Verret instead when the water is that high.

If you expect anyone who knows Henderson well to give up any tips that aren’t misdirection then you aren’t from St Martin Parish! What they tell you, do the opposite.

I know my way around Henderson. I’ve fished it enough. But I’m not close enough to ride by there and look at the water.

The river is supposed to crest at 19ft in a week or two. Then recede very slow so it might be a while until the water in Henderson is back right

Commute daily from Lafayette to BR and it’s high and muddy. Gets pretty choppy with that south wind to. Hopefully it’s dropping come late may to go catch some bream
