There is hope for every one of us
Believe upon Him. Not yourself.

Believe upon Him. Not yourself.

You too my Brother. I’m heading to a sunrise service on the bank of the beautiful little river where I’ve lived my whole life. I’ll hug my friends as we thank our Lord for the blessings in this life and that of an even better next life. Love to all the Board Members.

He is Risen!!
No better feeling than knowing you can put your day/life in the hands of the Man upstairs, and trust that He's "got this." And just go about your day.
God bless all of y'all and yours, and yes even to the haters that will get the eye twitch from this thread. Even if you can't stay away from posting your negativity. Open your hearts up, you'll be better for it.

I'm not religious but I do think that's in poor taste

Loved this ending of 'Kings of Kings', 1961
Narrator:
"And when the tomb was found empty some days
passed and Christ was seen at emmus and in Jerusalem and those who saw him knew he was the Lord.
Jesus and then a final time he came among
his disciples by the shore of Galilee."
Jesus:
"Do you know and love me?
Feed my sheep, for my sheep are in all the nations.
Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to Every Creature who hungers.
I Am With You. Always even until the end of the world."
(*Majestic divine-inspired Miklos Rozca score, 'King of Kings' *)

"He is not here for He is risen. Come see the place where the Lord lay."

My pastor spoke this morning about how unusual, or ironic, it was that women were the first to encounter the empty grave, and it was they who spread the news to the rest of the disciples that Jesus Had Risen given that the words of women were not given much credibility back then.
He didn’t really elaborate all too much on that, but I wonder if that was kind of a precursor to those of us in the future, who would believe upon Jesus from their testimony rather than firsthand accounting in the sense that the disciples, prior to Jesus, actually visiting them, had to go on faith alone, believing in the testimony of the women who found the empty tomb, as well as Christ, who testified to that effect, Even though they did not pick up on it at the time.
Similar to the empty tomb found, and the actual visitation of the risen Jesus Christ, so is it with our accepting of Christ on faith alone at first, and as we begin walking with Him, the eventual revealing of His presence in our life through scripture being revealed to us, our prayers, and Him working in our life where He makes Himself manifest to us.
