It's not nostalgia, it's a gift from God

Had an epiphany mowing this morning when I was struck dumb by a happy wave of being 9 years old and playing catch with my dad in the yard on a Saturday morning.
Just hit me out of nowhere; something about the way the sun was shining and the section of grass I was in just brought me back 50 in time.
We didn't evolve from sludge and twigs. This was bestowed upon us from God and when the feeling rushes over you, you need to thank Him for what he's done. If we didn't have the gift of seeing into our past in perfect technicolor think how lifeless our existence would be.

Beautiful, brutha. That's heaven-like

I've also been having the same kinds of sunny-day epiphanies from my glorious childhood and teen years. And that high vibe... it was always a real thing.
I agrre, these warm happy memories should be considered a blessing, a gift from God.

Literally no one ever said we evolved from twigs
But I’ve never understand the religion-based violent opposition to things like evolution. Is it not possible in your world that God designed and facilitated evolution? If humans did evolve modern human existence would’ve started in earnest with one man and one woman… maybe their names were Adam and Eve.

Couldn't God have made that the plan?

Go count the number of “atheist” or “anti-religion” threads I’ve started. I’ll wait

Slow down, look and see the moments from God.
May the Spirit of Jesus always be with you.

I used to read them, they’re horrible, unfunny, unclear, just generally awful… so now I don’t

Point to a specific one that is
I mean, I really don't care because I don't respect your troll opinion in general, but I can understand if you have a point.
I just don't think you do.
You're a monkey flinging poo from the peanut gallery.
