Day 1 play is underway. Scheffler already on the course and conditions are perfect. These guys are gonna do some damage before things firm up. Spieth usually plays well here so I'd like those odds if I could bet on it. We're heading down tomorrow for the Saturday round.

RBC Heritage odds
Scottie Scheffler +360
Collin Morikawa +1100
Xander Schauffele +1100
Ludvig Åberg +1200
Justin Thomas +1600
Patrick Cantlay +1800
Shane Lowry +2200
Corey Conners +2500
Russell Henley +2800
Tommy Fleetwood +3000
Viktor Hovland +3000
Jason Day +4000
Jordan Spieth +4000
Robert MacIntyre +4500
Sungjae Im +4500

I forgot about Fitzpatrick. Guy is usually dialed in here and appears to be yet again, though it's obviously early. These guys are tearing the course up (Scheffler -4 through 6, JT -5 through 7 )

Scheffler has as many wins in the last 2 years as Spieth has in his career. Wow.

Might take 20 under or better to win this year

I'd say. JT on a freakin heater. Just went to -9 through 16. Course record in reach.

Holy shite...just buried a 38 footer for another birdie on 17. Sets the course record at 60 with a birdie on 18.

Never understand how he goes from not being able to hit a fairway to setting course records constantly

Horschel just signed the leg (and welt) of a woman he nailed with his tee shot. That’s a good sized egg.

Dunlap looks to have the R1 high score within his grasp at +8.

Are we sure letting college players on the tour after a few good rounds is a good thing for them or the tour?

3 penalties on 1 hole is impressive

He did birdie 18 so should beat Joe Highsmith

I mean, he won multiple events. That's a good career for most guys.

He's clearly lost with his swing at the moment. TBD if he can get it back.

He won the Amex for sure. Course played like a college course and he shot -29. That barracuda championship was a really weak field and Stableford format.

I honestly expected him to play better this weekend because this course is pretty easy.

He had a good day 2 at the Masters. He just loses it some days. He'll be fine when he matures. Obviously he benefits from being on the tour financially, i just feel like theres probably someone better on the Korn Ferry tour right now.

He won the AmEx and qualified for the Tour. Not a whole lot you can do about that.

Pretty clearly has the swing yips right now which sounds terrible.

Pro golfers...they're just like us

And because there's no cut we'll get to watch him spray it around for 4 days.

We would’ve never been able to watch Spieth’s run
