The same way ND seems to get a top 25 ranking at the beginning of each season. Florida, Oklahoma, and Texas have legit claims to be in the preseason top 5. We deserve one of the other 2 spots just as much as anyone else does, especially with the talent in place.

The irony is that LSU had enough talent to finish in the top five LAST season, but a new QB (or three) and that ridiculous two-headed disaster of a Defensive Coordinator conspired against you on your way to a five loss season.

I agree 100%. I would no problem with LSU starting around #10 and moving up based on how impressive they are.

Im suprised he has had the chance to look at our squad. You know with Pete Carrol and the rest of the Pac-10 shoving their rods so far up his arse.
