I remember this 45 from my youth, either late 70's early 80's, but am unable to youtube or google it. I don't remember the singer or the song title, but the chorus was driving a truck down I-75.

Can any of you audiophiles help me please?

There is no such thing as I75. You sure it was that and not I35, 45, ?

I started writing a song driving south on I-75, I took I-40 East and had the song finished by the time I got to Ashville, N.C..
It's called "White Lightning Space Rocket" I hope to get it recorded one day, so it's obviously not the song referred to in the OP.

That's probably it.
I used to know one of the guys that wrote that song. Haven't seen him in a long time. He could drive you nuts talking about it, when you were working on something else.

That’s strange, since I drive on it multiple times a week.
