How far away is he from really contributing for LSU?? Does he really need a RS to develop??

All linemen should take a RS, unless they are some freak of nature.

You've gotta figure that he'll be groomed to be the next RT after Barksdale if in fact Greg Shaw is the LT in waiting. With Barksdale only being a junior next year, I'm sure the coaches would love to have Faulk redshirt this season, platoon at both tackle positions as a RS freshman, and start at RT as a RS sophomore.
