2028 Calvin Ursin Live oak

According to his socials just received a LSU offer.
Made a post early This past football season on this kid. Local kid right down the road. I was at all of the Live Oak games last year for my sister on the dance team, and this kid constantly, CONSTANTLY, balled on offense and defense. Currently listed at 6-2 190.
Has a nice offer list already. Would not be at all surprised if he cracks the top 100. He’s that good.

I have to ask how old he is? If it’s the same kid, my son has competed against him on the basketball court and the football field since 7th grade. That young man was way more physically mature than anyone on the court or the field. It was ridiculous watching other middle schoolers try to guard him. He was drop stepping and dunking as an 8th grader.

If he is a 2028 kid, he's around 15. My son graduates 2028 and he is 15.

He should be 15. There is another kid that has gone back and forth between Denham and LIV Oak who is a Freshman and he is a mountain. I am pretty sure he is probably closer to 17.

If we have offered and he has a nice offer list this far out…he will absolutely be top 100 unless something happens

His QB transferred to Starkville High School. He is a 27 Grad, super athlete, great kid that has multiple offers already. The big TE moved to Denham this offseason also.

QB made the right move. Kid is amazingly talented and can throw the ball all over the yard but the coach is from Curtis so he just wants to hand it off.

Seems like the wheels are falling off the bus at LO. Kids are jumping ship. Already talk of another one leaving from the group they brought in from Jr High.

What’s the draw for all these kids to LO? There’s no real tradition of winning there that I can recall. Plenty of as good or better options nearby. Is it money? Facilities?
