Who does she work for?
Does she think she is the head of the chain of command?
She assumed command of the base in July 2024.
I should hope not... she took it upon herself to get in her feelies and go against Vance's remarks.
What's with all of this insubordination, malicious compliance, vows to 'wait out' the next four years?

She wrote that she "spent the weekend thinking about Friday's visit -- the actions taken, the words spoken, and how it must have affected each of you." "I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base," Meyers wrote in the email, which was communicated to Military.com.

He was there representing the administration's will. So, he is far above this chikadee.
I can understand her having 'thoughts and feelings' about what he said... but she should not think for a moment it was her place to inform others her thinking on the issues in a way that pushes back on any official position, posturing, politicking, etc...
