So do we think BK will get this kind of NIL funding every year? Or is this a once in a while opportunity.

revenue share will be the big piece starting July 1
NIL from collectives will be coming to an end as it will be more even across the board
future nil deals will have to be cleared through NCAA which will be a mess but whatever
true NIL will still be in play which is what is should have been all along

Really awkward though, the NIL collectives seemed to be doing a ton of good in each community by making the players have a monthly activity to receive $. The collectives are 501c3 organizations and they ARE using the NIL concept correctly…it’s just a little more generic than anticipated. You need 5 athletes for your event…you get them in team colors…you just didn’t ask for them specifically.

Depends. If we go 8-4 again I’d imagine some of those boosters won’t be happy. If we go 10-2 and win a playoff game, I’d assume they would be inclined to keep giving.

I don’t think that has been decided on with the whole rev share beginning

& the decision to approve the House vs NCAA settlement has been delayed again until at least next week. Have to wait & see if it actually goes into effect on July 1

Not accurate at all. NIL is totally separate. The only thing that will kill NIL is buyers remorse.

Schools like Texas are adding a ton of new scholarships to their athletic programs and they plan on supplementing the house settlement with matching funds from their NIL collective.

I can see Texas having a total of 40 million dollar payroll soon.
