Rechargeable filet knife. Is bubba blade that much better?

I see there is an old timer that’s about 1/3 of the price. Is the bubba blade really worth it?

Pro tip: buy the Old Timer, put a Bubba Blade on it!

Pro/Wedge-arse move:

Buy an electric carving knife from the Home section at Walmart. Keep the receipt and return it for a new one when it burns up.

I got a rechargeable Bubba from the kids for Christmas and I’m not impressed by its lack of horsepower.

The Bubba has a shitload of battery life. Less RPM than the Rapala. I use mine for bass with Mister Twister blade. I can clean 40-50 in 30 minutes. I have had for 4 years and it’s still going strong after cleaning probably over 1000 fish.

I have both Bubba and Rapala. The Rapala is 100 times better than the bubba. The Bubba lacks power, and the trigger is in the wrong place. The Rapala is like magic. It has a thumb trigger and you can run throats ton of fish without any hand cramps

Mines been pretty good. I find the Mr twister blades are better for trout due to the flatness.

I gave up on the battery models several years ago. Including Bubba. I'd give mine away if someone wanted it.

I always clean fish at the cleaning station at the ramp, at the house, or on my folding table if I'm camping. I have access to outlets at all times I'd ever be cleaning fish.
