Ordered a CZ Shadow 2 yesterday

My first CZ pistol(I have a scorpion). I bought the non red dot model because I plan on sending to either CGW or Primary Machine to mill slide and optic direct mount. Read tons of good things about them. Honest outlaw had a buddy comp shooter that has put 65K rounds through one.

Gen 1 that I SBR’d 8-9 years ago.Few mods. Midwest industry MLOK hand guard. Best mod is HB industries Trigger spring. It’s $12 and pretty easy to install. Took my trigger from about 8lbs to 4.5.

Nexus makes an aluminum billet receiver that is roller delayed for these. Worth looking into, especially if you shoot it supressed.

I plan on getting one of their bolts. The OEM has been known to wear with under 2K rounds and cause issues with firing out of battery. This is due to softer metal CZ used for the BCG.

I'll probably wait for that to actually happen before I replace the bolt. With the receiver and a new bolt, it would be as much as I paid for the whole gun new at the time, which is already making it hard to justify the receiver. I keep asking myself at what point is it cheaper to get another MP5 clone and keep enjoying the Scorpion for what it is?

Wager machine works did my P07 slide with black nitride finish. Look them up, have thousands of excellent reviews. Well known for CZ milling. Had it back to me in 11 days from when I shipped it. Will probably send them my P01 slide next time they have a sale.

Just realized I can’t swap out the reciver. My gun is SBR. The receiver is tied to the tax stamp.

I have been having a CZ S2 Orange with the full CGW package

Picked it up yesterday. Going to shoot it this weekend. It has the best DA/SA trigger of any production gun I have ever had. Reminds me of the Wilson Combat 92 action tune trigger.
