Looks like today was pretty wet, hopefully it doesn’t rain Sunday. Want another Marquez brothers 1-2.

I follow MotoGP fairly closely because it is some of the best racing in motorsport. While I have been a factory Ducati fan for many years their recent dominace takes a little away from the sport. While I want a factory Ducati 1-2 every race it would be more fun if something besides a Ducati had a chance to win.

MotoGP is THE BEST racing in the world. It’s better than F1.

I don’t follow it closely but if I catch it on TV I’ll watch.

For me it is MotoGP and WEC in a tight 1-2 or 2-1, but they are very different. COTA hosts the 6th round of WEC this year I think it is in Sept.

I’m not a Ducati fan necessarily, I’m all in on the Marc Marquez comeback tho. He’s had it rough the last few years.

Formula 1 has pretty bad racing compared to its other top level motorsports alternatives like Indycar, NASCAR, IMSA/WEC etc …

F1 is an engineering exercise and has become an aspirational lifestyle brand that Americans can latch onto to make themselves feel sophisticated .

F1 on its best day cannot hold a candle to an average Indycar race

Quartararo got such a great start but the Yamaha looks like a moto2 bike on the straights

Another 1-2 for the Marquez bros

Marc Marquez is on another level with that factory Ducati. Surprising how easily his brother is beating Pecco.

Was some good racing back in the pack.

220 mph down the back straight into a more than 90 degree turn is crazy

I was hoping Acosta would have another race like last year but the KTM just doesn't have it.

Anyone not familiar with MotoGP should watch the first lap of the sprint at COTA. That is as good a single lap as you will ever see in motorsport.

Toprak Razgatlioglu and Nicolò Bulega put on a show at Portimao in WSBK. It's a shame Toprak never found a way to Motogp. He beat Bulegas Ducati both days on an inferior BMW M1000RR. Would love to see him against Marquez

I’ve never watched any WSBK, their bikes are based on production models arnt they?

I hope my cable guide is wrong because it doesn’t have the race listed today.

I didn't think it is on live on any US channel. FS1 has NASCAR and FS2 has the American Rodeo and horse racing on. My service has it "recording" at 8:30 tonight on FS1 (they have NHRA after NASCAR then MotoGP). Not much of a deal since I have basketball to watch all afternoon.

If you need a racing fix today, Sonoma has a GT America race. Yesterday's race was pretty good.

eta: Today's race is not so great. Better to to watch yesterday's race.
