Better pitchers. Texas might not have the numbers but they have more of a quality staff . Strike throwers and ball movement

Why? Because his pitcher has an awesome breaking pitch, and he keeps calling it?

You may as well just sit back and laugh...these posters are like high school girls....overly emotional, and not very much intellect.

How does that happen in Schlossnagle's first year while Johnson is in his fourth?

There's plenty of numbers to back it up. Here's a quick run down of a couple from my post in the game thread earlier...

Something they talked about during last night's game that I thought was interesting.

In 2023, Texas a&m, with Yeskie as their pitching coach, threw the most pitches in the SEC and one of the highest total number of pitches in the country. They also had a team ERA above 5.5. That summer, he comes to LSU and the next season, their pitching staff greatly improved while ours has had struggles since Yeskie took over.

They were trying to talk up Maximum Wieners being a good pitching coach. I just found it interesting the difference a good pitching coach can make. As LSU fans, I believe we last saw that in 2023. Here's the graphic they showed while talking about it (also shows the improvement he's made a Texas).

Who has lsu developed? Kade Anderson was the 2nd best pitcher as true freshman last year so spare me they developed that kid. He's going to be a top 60 pick next year.
