Lexington, KY or Columbia, MO?

Our high school select teams are looking at tournaments in Lexington and Columbia.
Looking at Columbia, there just does not seem to be enough things to do for 25 high school kids to do as a group.
Anyone have any suggestions on either place -- timeline is late june, early july. 5 or 6 days.

I would not do Columbia. Outside the university there isn’t much to do.

Thanks for all of the spirited responses from everyone.
This thread was most helpful.
Rag -- seriously, thanks. I kind of had that suspicion but was hoping there would be more in Columbia that I was missing.

I don't know anything about Lexington.
So I would say go to Lexington over CoMo.

Lexington probably has more to offer. Columbia is cool, but it's definitely more of a college town vibe. Lexington has a good mix of history, horse farms, and some decent nightlife spots that the older kids might appreciate. Plus, it's a pretty easy city to get around.

If I were supervising high school aged children, I’d take them to Columbia. There’s less chance of trouble.

Como is very much a college town. At that age, I would also agree with Lexington.
Not exactly fun, but the state capital and such is a short drive away.
