Anybody have experience with this tractor. Looks like it's a TYM (Korean) engine in these. We've had good use out of an older Kubota, but prices have gone sky high on used.

I thought Mahindra engines were made in India?

Mahindra sucks. Parts availability, and warranty support if needed is subpar. What happens when TYM and Mahindra split drawers?
There is a reason Kubota resale value is insane.
You will not get the same level of support or use out of a Mahindra branded TYM as you will a Kubota.
I have a good bit of experience with both Kubota and Mahindra branded 25 series TYMs and it’s not even a consideration.

Thanks for the input. I figured as much. Just scratched them off the list

I was in the market for a cab tractor back in the summer. I looked at the mahindra ended up with a Case100c. I wanted a kubota I just couldn’t swing the used prices. I have a 50hp kubota that’s almost worth as much as I paid for it 6 years later. Lot of nothing to say, use Kubota financing it’s fantastic can probably get it less than 2.9%.

My mahindra has a 3cyl Mitsubishi engine. It’s a 35hp compact 4x4 with loader

Not many things more annoying than a piece of equipment that's useless because of an inability to find a part.
Also, a buddy bought a brand new Mahindra about a decade ago that was ate up with electrical gremlins. Dealer dgaf and made warranty work a pita. Buddy finally said F-it and sold it.

Be careful with some of the advice on here. You’ll have to weed out the tractor dealers.

Any good tractor brand will let you take it to any authorized service shop for warranty work. If they don't then stay away.

The issue my buddy had was the tractor was a beached whale. The dealer, 20min away, wanted him to load it up and bring it over. He wanted them to come with their service truck and fix it at his shop...or come get it and take it to their shop. Maybe he was asking too much but loading a dead tractor isn't easy without proper equipment.

Might want to look into John Deere, they use Yanmar. Yanmar makes around 400,000 diesel engines a year. For years, Yanmar made many of the smaller tractors in the US.

Have a 2008 Model 3316 with the Mitsubishi..amazing engine and tractor. Is a workhorse.
Wiring must be soy based as mice have dined repeatedly on dashboard wires.
Dealer support is not good. Bill’s Tractor Supply online is most reliable source for parts.
Will keep running it until it becomes yard art. Next tractor will be a Kubota due to better service support.
