Power of Cal and the Chicken Man, I guess. Keep buying them Tyson wings and nuggets.
Appears he may be the GM for the entire Ath Dpt, not just Hoops, which will be interesting, if so.

The GM has been a popular role in college for the last like 5-7 years. I remember it popping up when Austin Thomas was first getting some buzz at LSU

Yes, by sport. It’s been there in football for a while and is now picking up in basketball. The entire athletic department thing can’t be true. I’m sure Arkansas already has a football GM for one, and it just makes zero sense

I don’t think that’s true really, not universally. These titles at this point handle NIL/budget across atleast the major sports.
