He’s 30 years old. But it’s a good pick up for a 7th. I still wouldn’t mind picking a DT in the draft. But it gives us more flexibility to draft DE, LBer and OG.

it's a 7th-round pick next year. He's a proven NFL player for a 7th next year. This is a no-brainer, IMO. One of the better trades I recall the Saints making. Few 7th rounders make the team.

Guess this sorta puts a brake on the Loomis anti-LSU narrative?
