Cocodrie area campgrounds?

Anybody have any experience with campgrounds out this way? I have a slide-in, pop- up camper w/o a bathroom, so I'd like to find a place that has a toilet/shower. Doesn't need to be fancy--basic "state park bath house" accommodations are more than adequate. Thanks in advance.

They don’t have what you are looking for down there.

Tell me you have never been to Cocodrie.
Maybe one of the baws on here will let you park by their camp, plug in and use the facilities for a small fee.

99% sure they don't have what you are looking for.
Maybe call Lapeyrouse Campground, though I don't think they have anything other than sewerage/water/electricity hookup, which doesn't help you. They may be able to point you in the right direction
That's really the only campground I can think of on any of the bayous.

Are you talking about the fishing village of Cocodrie on the coast or are you talking about Cocodrie lake in central Louisiana?

Check with Channelside marina. They were supposed to have something like this, but I am not sure if they made it after Ida. Also, call Coco MArina. They have made so many updates, they may have hookups by now.

Came here to mention Channelside in Dulac. I was last there in the fall and they had several campers.

We have a winner-- just got off the phone with them and they have exactly what I'm after. Thanks!
