They were hot after him at the deadline and were probably offering a 4th. Dumb arse jets gave a third for half a season of play. Look for plenty of restructuring in the next few days so Loomis can sign Carrs buddy.

Trade olave and sign Adams to modest vet deal

Olave's value is at rock bottom. I wouldn't trade him.

We need a #1 WR. He’s long in the tooth, but is a really good one.
That being said, it would have to be a team friendly deal, we would need to let some guys like Honey Badger and Cam walk/retire and get additional draft picks to fill out the roster.
I’d imagine some team would be willing to pay him more than we could. Jaguars, Patriots or Chargers? I bet Washington wish they would have waited for this.

He's still got the juice but I doubt playing with Carr again tops playing for the most money or playing for playoff a bound team lol

I really don’t think we sign him. I think Loomis was trying to save Allen’s job last year. He took a really big black eye from that hire.
He’s not quite under that pressure this year with Moore.

I think we all can agree that Loomis has not felt pressure since 05 lol

Let's give him a $50 mil contract and just kick the dead money down the road with contract extensions

It’s not going up. You can’t undo 5 concussions.

So we should get what value he can provide on the field then, I agree

I think the only thing you can really do with Olave is play him this year and hope he just goes without a concussion and hope you can unload him after the year.
He’s going to want to be paid if he stays healthy and I’d rather some other team be the one that gambles in his long term health moving forward.

I’m not opposed to it. I just don’t think his value will get much lower than what it currently is. We’d have him for a 5th year so if he was healthy this year I think you could move him before that and still get at worst an equivalent pick to what you’d currently get.
If we could get a 3 I’d be all for it.
