Crazy that Trump helped over 500 people become millionaires over night with his meme coin but he’s vilified.
People are still making & losing money with it, same as most things. Seems to just be a vehicle for people to make or lose money.

the Trump family and its partners have amassed nearly $100 million in trading fees from the venture, most of which remains uncashed. At the same time, an analysis of blockchain transactions conducted by Chainalysis and Nansen shows that early traders—31 in total—raked in $669 million in profits, leaving 813,294 other wallets collectively nursing $2 billion in losses.
People who had early access did well

Why would States want to put an extremely volatile asset, that is prone to huge cyber attacks that result in billions of dollars worth of theft, in their reserves ?

Bitcoin Reserve Bills Are Failing in Quick Succession in States
quote:
Lawmakers in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming have all voted against establishing state-level crypto reserves in the last few weeks, citing concerns over risk and volatility associated with digital assets.

The bill from Lummis, a Wyoming Republican, calls for the US to acquire 1 million Bitcoin, while Trump’s initial proposal required the government to maintain ownership of the roughly 200,000 tokens that the US already possesses following asset seizures. But even the measure in Lummis’ home state to allow investment specifically in Bitcoin failed in the House in early February, with only one representative voting in favor of the bill.
Wyoming was the most crypto friendly state
Guessing cyrpto bros just parrot what they see on Twitter

It takes one legislator in a state to introduce any bill. This isn’t exactly the big deal you think it lol

Interesting that sounds like a major shift in the administration when it comes to crypto. A summit sounds like a meeting to talk about things, not a functioning body to push for any type of legislation.

Is it being held in the basement

This is what happened. It is useless to try and convince the koolaid crowd.
