Trump has the right portrait hanging in his office

Every day that goes by, Trump reminds me more and more of Andrew “Old Hickory” Jackson. They were both “my way or the highway” personalities. Jackson always did what HE thought was right, and didn’t care what others thought about it. In hindsight, Jackson turned out to be a mixed bag in what he gave us as President. His positives were huge positives, his negatives have some wanting him off the $20 bill. Just as Jackson remains controversial and divisive almost 200 years later, I think Trump will have a similar legacy.

One of the best statues anywhere! Battle of New Orleans badass in command! Kicked the British square in the balls with the help of Indians, pirates, slaves, blacks, and anyone else that wanted to shoulder a rifle. Ultimate you frick with one of us you frick with all of us moment.

Jackson is a good comparison. I always thought he reminded me alot of Teddy as well.

The fact that his portrait is in the OO is very telling. He was a truly unique individual and DNGAF.

Same statue in DC. I like the cannons.

Jackson himself would be pissed at being a face of a Federal Reserve note.
