Where to get fresh tabasco peppers...or dried?

As popular as the hot sauce is, you'd think you'd see tabasco peppers in grocery stores. But no. Why is that? And where can you get them without having to grow them yourself? I've got some recipe ideas and would like to try incorporating fresh tabasco peppers, but am having a hard time finding them anywhere (I'm in central TX). I'd even settled for dried tabasco peppers if that's easier to get too.
Any help?

Well, it's native to Mexico, just go into a Fiesta. Someone there will know.

Mexican or Asian groceries sometimes have them.

I thought about checking Fiesta. I've bought peppers there before but don't remember seeing tabasco, but wasn't looking for it either. Will check there and at the Asian markets in town.
Thanks!

Hispanic owned and operated stores in the N.O. area usually have a huge supply of chilis for sale. I find their produce sections to be first rate as far as what you'd find in a typical supermarket-----and usually cheaper too.
The last time I made my own hot sauce I picked up 50 orange habanero peppers at Ideal Market to use and that, along with the other ingredients gave me 3 nice pint jars and enough to put in a shaker bottle to keep on the countertop.

Went to both Fiesta and one of the Asian markets and no luck. Will try H Mart soon, but I'm not optimistic. I may just have to order a plant or something. I see Etsy has some.

They are prolific fruiting peppers.

You may need to plant a few tobasco plants in pots. Local gardening store should have them now for spring gardeners.

You can get Tabasco pepper mash(ground peppers and salt) online from Louisiana Pepper Exchange and some other places. May not be "fresh" but would probably be a good option.

I only see cayenne there.
