quote:

a well-placed insider revealed that discussions between the Eagles’ players and the front office reached a conclusion that it would be a “massive no” to accept the White House visit invitation.

an unnamed player reportedly stated that “pretty much everyone” was on the same page with regard to their refusal. “We represent a city and a state that is pushing for equal rights, respect, and values that respect every human being.”

“We won’t forget what happened and the criticism we received for taking a stand against racism, and we won’t back down from our values of respect, integrity, and equality.”

Edit:
What’s true? Allegedly now they may be going

Sources now claim Eagles may go to White House

Anyone upset or surprised by this has not been paying attention to the NFL for the past 10 years.

Trump was going for the Chiefs. Publicly said it. He doesn’t deserve the visit. Also you’re sensitive if this offends you about a team. Now who is the snowflake. Wahhhh the team doesn’t want to visit the White House. Cry about it.

Seems the team and their sources leaked the news to get their message to the forefront ahead of the cylce not the White House. The quotes are a dead giveaway. Almost as if no one would care if they just quietly declined. But they want a reaction so I'm sure they'll get one.

I love it when people post the map like some big gotcha without realizing the popular vote was 77 to 75.

Wasn’t Pennsylvania the only red New England state?
