I have a Lowrance HDS Carbon 7 display that powers on but does not display anything. It beeps when turned on but cannot get the screen working. I reached out to Lowrance and they will not help since the unit is over 5 yrs old. Does anyone bench test these units before I rid of this unit? Just checking with the group as this is my last hope with it.

Following, as I have an Elite Ti unit that decides to power off and back on every 10 minutes. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it.

I just found this guy who repairs marine electronics. He has many videos on YT. I just reached out to him, awaited a response at the moment.

Give a few electronic device repair shops around town a call (ones that repair tablets, phones, etc...)
My Minn Kota remote for the trolling motor had the plugs for the battery completely torn out when I was trying to see which battery i needed to order. The connectors needed to be replaced and soldered in, and the battery replaced as well. Took it to a random shop off Perkins Rd (looks like its shut down now) after running it by them on the phone, they took a look at it in person, and they had it fixed in a few weeks

Already did, just exploring options to utilize this unit on a smaller boat.
