Nicholls Game to be rescheduled to Tuesday April 8th. home game moved to Monday

That’s what it says on baseball’s schedule. Both teams were supposed to play in Baton Rouge on the 8th but it’s been moved to Thibodaux

I think the bigger issue is that LSU allowed a press release to go out saying the game was cancelled rather than postponed.

The LSU -Nicholls State baseball game scheduled for Wednesday evening in Thibodaux, La. has been cancelled due to extremely cold and inclement weather in south Louisiana. The Tigers issued an official release on their Twitter page and school website . Representatives from both schools are currently working to reschedule the game at a later date, and the new date and time are expected to be announced on Wednesday afternoon, according the press release .

If what the OP says is true, where we replaced the home Nicholls game with now going there, then a game was technically cancelled (our home game against them)

The OP said they aren't playing tonight. That's one. OP also said they two teams were supposed to play in BR on the 8th, now it'll be in at Nichols. That's two, right? Are they adding this game back or somewhere else?

Yeah, if true that’s kind of lame. I don’t understand giving up a home game, but I’m probably not understanding any of this.

I already posted the new schedule, but either way what you're saying would have only reduced our home games by 1.
