Downtown Greenville, SC or just north of I-85 between Anderson & Clemson?
Planning to arrive on Friday and depart Sunday. Thanks!

lake hartwell or lake keowee. keowee is a much better lake, but hartwell a little bit closer.

Hotels in Greenville and Anderson area will all be extremely elevated in price for football weekend. Hotels in Greenville near Reedy River are really nice and the area will be hopping with football fans but again, be prepared to pay higher than normal prices and you should book early as they usually sell out way in advance of game days.

Greenville is a nice town with a lot to do.

If you can find a reasonably priced house to rent near Lake Hartwell or Lake Keowee, then that's a pretty nice option..

There's not much in Anderson.

I rented an Airbnb condo one mile from the stadium. Most Tiger fans will be forced to book rooms in Greenville due to scarcity near campus.

I do plan to fly into Greenville and stay in a hotel Sunday night and check out the city on my way home.

I live an hour away, so I'm not much help, but I'm staying in Seneca, just down US 123. Greenville is the closest city to Clemson though, so there's more to do there.

ETA: Anderson is closer, but not worth it.
