Is the 1st game of the season usually a sellout? All lsu site has is standing room tickets available, tickets from 3rd party are ridiculous

the game is at 2:00, kids have school and most people work
will be plenty of tickets available
get SRO and find an empty seat

if it was at night it would have a larger crowd

Not necessarily, since it's at 2 PM. Wait until the night before or Friday morning, and a lot of those prices on SeatGeek and Stubhub will be much lower.

This is what we do also but only for non conference games. Once we get to SEC play, especially when we host the top teams, you won't find many empty seats.

The prices are insane and once you add the fees, the tix are almost triple face value. The best way is to wait until the last minute to purchase on the secondary market. Ticket prices tend to drop the righjt before game time.

There are tickets available for under $25 including fees.

Buy the $10 SRO. It is a 2:00 weekday game for opening day should be plenty of seats to choose from. Just be willing to move if somebody says you're in their seat.

The initial season match frequently finds complete sellout success when major games take place. Third-party tickets typically remain the most costly availability due to empty standing-room-only options. Checking the ticket market once again in the proximity of the game could reveal potential late-breaking ticket releases.
