So I rsvp’d for this show a while back. Didn’t realize at the time it’s Super Bowl weekend. I live in Lake Charles and debating if it’s worth driving.

Says entry is not guaranteed. I’m not driving all the way there just to camp out in line all day.

I’ve tried to call Filmore to see how many they are letting in. Anyone know how to get a hold of someone there. I’ve called and emailed w zero response.

Did a solid for a TD’er (and myself).

Guy at door said they’ll admit capacity (2,400) and that they gave out 2,700 RSVPs. Better ratio than I expected. We’ll hopefully be in that number!

No one in line yet!

ETA: Chris pulled in yesterday with 3 tour busses and 18-wheeler and they loaded in yesterday. Should be quite a show.

Hopefully door guy had good info. We'll check out the line after an early dinner and try to post an update. We'll probably get there for 8:00ish. If for some reason we don't get in, Mrs CBD and I will take in the sights. It feels like a Thursday before Mardi Gras downtown already (not that I'd drive from LC just for that though!)

Last time Super Bowl was here we did a free CMT concert in the WH district with Rascall Flatts and Journey. It was a similar deal with free RSVPs and I don't recall lining up way in advance. Can't believe this was 12 years ago-

Wife got paranoid so we got in line 10 mins ago. Probably about 150 people in line when we joined.

Indeed! Glad you made it.

Setlist:

White Horse
Nobody to Blame
Second One to Know
Millionaire
(Kevin Welch cover)
Worry B Gone
(Guy Clark cover)
Hard Livin'
What Am I Gonna Do
Think I’m in Love With You
Arkansas
Starting Over
You Should Probably Leave
Parachute
Cold
Free Bird / The Devil Named Music
Traveller
Fire Away
Broken Halos
Tennessee Whiskey

Encore:
Outlaw State of Mind

Free drinks and beignets were an unexpected bonus. They gave out 2 drink tix on entry, then a lady walking around handed out more. Had some leftover - one can only drink so much White Claw (only choice for the freebies). Plus a free shot of his Traveler Whiskey.

Even the hour plus in line wasn't bad - perfect weather, people watching, and the new Caesars hotel came out nice. Met some other Tiger fans, saw Tre Morgan heading into the casino, and hit up the Brothers market on Carondelet for a 6-er of Stella pints to share with new friends (surprisingly under $10 - sleazy store on Canal was selling singles for $7.99). On cue, the Stella advertising truck rolled up and parked by us for a while.

Agreed. Saw Emmitt Smith and Erin Andrews.

CBD I owe you a drink.
