Not gonna lie, it hurts that the Lakers got more for AD than we did

They turned an end-of-prime AD into one of the top 2 or 3 players currently in the game.

Can't really compare the situations. He strong armed his way out of here and to the one team he wanted. Whereas, the Lakers weren't searching to trade him they just lucked into a moron.

Not so much comparing the situation as I am lamenting how it all played out.
Remember when we thought we fleeced LA in that deal? Since then, they've won a title (yes, we'd be celebrating it like it was real if we won in the bubble) and then turned their return into a generational player who is entering his prime.
Meanwhile, we largely botched the pick haul that we got back and, as for the best player asset we got in that trade, we are now trying to trade him away in the midst of what appears to be a soft reboot and no one wants him.

Griffs fault, he could have easily turned the AD package into Lauri M, Darius garland and kept DD. And had the chance to trade BI for Fox at one point.
I’ve pointed out every single one of these moves over the years.
Griff sucks and has bad luck. If BI walks we’ll have pretty much nothing from the AD trade while the Lakers got a Micky mouse ring and all of AD’s prime years and now prime Doncic…..

Griffin sucks but no one else was gona get Luka for AD other than LA. This trade stinks and I can't wait till we find out why

That’s what you get when the league caters to LeBum and the Lakers. Hell Fox went for 3 firsts and LaVine. Mavs absolutely could have gotten way more for Luka.

Yeah, there’s only one GM in the league apparently that is stupid enough to trade Luka Doncic for AD. That’s not Griff’s fault, if he had that sort of package on the table he would’ve taken it
