There were a few threads about it I'm pretty sure. And yeah the third act was a lot. I think if you end it 20 minutes sooner I like the movie much better. Body horror is not my thing.

The last 15 mins or so gets really gross. It's just absurd. But the rest of the film is really good.

Just watched it. Yeah, it just keeps going on and on. I thought it was starting to transition into the last act but I checked the progress bar and it was less than halfway over.
Good effort. I guess it got nominations because at least it's original, though some of the multiple references to other horror movies seemed forced.
Great asses, though, beginning to end.

It’s a BODY HORROR movie. The whole gimmick is that you see the body deteriorate or go through a metamorphosis.
This movie was made to be a splatter film in the Horror genre and not even a “Oscar movie”. It’s just so good that it ended up rightfully getting nominated, something the academy never does for horror.

I have no desire to see something like this. "Body Horror" is a genre I have no interest in.

There are a few that fit that genre that I like I reckon, but I'm a total pussy when it comes to grotesque body mutilations.
