Do I have to lift the wipers off my windshield?

I really don't. I haven't seen it. So do I have to lift them or not? If I can avoid it, I'd prefer to not get blizz all over me.

Unless you want to buy a new windshield you need to get out there and lift them.

Lift them before it snows if you plan on going anywhere after it snows. The wiper blades and motor will get messed up if you try to use them when they are frozen to the windshield or heavy from being covered in snow/ice.
