Hear me out. Next two years are going to be awful with the aging roster and crippling cap issues.
Bring in one of these two offensive minded guys and let them gian some experience with a roster rebuilding.
Then if they don’t work out or show key progress, you fire them quickly once cap situation becomes more tenable. It’s a risk, but low one and high reward if you get them for the long haul as opposed to a retread.

Ryan day will not have a massive advantage over the rest of the league like he does in college. Freeman would be one of the best answers in college but truthfully we will be lucky to get someone like McCarthy to take over this shite show.

Why on earth would day leave a school that likely pays more and gives him every potential resource to field a super team for our situation which is damn near doomed to fail for a few years at minimum.
