Doesn’t seem to be much buildup for the title game tomorrow night. I think they’ve pushed the calendar out too far. Gets lost with the NFL playoffs

This and it's two teams from the same area of the country that nobody outside of their fanbases really cares about watching all that much.

It’s late January and these retarded college playoffs have butted up against the real pro football.

College football has been poor enough quality, people don’t care about it when February is coming up.

After watching Allen vs Lamar it’s going to be a Temu version of quarterback play tomorrow.

The playoffs are too long and there’s too much time between rounds. Quite frankly, I forgot the final game was tomorrow

Yeah, sure
Not much buzz around a National Championship game between No-Names like Ohio State & Notre Dame.
The truth is you're all having a difficult time coping with the fact that all 3 of your SEC representatives got wrecked by Yankee teams.

Yep. Honestly if it weren’t for threads like this I would’ve completely forgotten about the title game.

So stupid. There's nearly two weeks in between playoff games. They have fricked this up royally.

Honestly it's kind of sad seeing you SEC folks reduced to trying to convince yourselves that nobody cares about the game because the SEC was shut out, again.

Cone on man. Notre Dame has a massive national following, and tons of anti-OSU fans will be tuned in hoping to see them lose. I just hope it’s a good game.

If the two biggest brands in college football can't generate big numbers maybe don't play the natty this close February. The semifinal seemed ages ago.

they are already discussing the schedule…hopefully fix it in the future. definitely too far out now

You either saw the same post on X as me or you are the one who started it lol.

And yeah, I think it's because we're knee deep into the NFL playoffs and the game is on Inauguration Day. The season has gone on too long and no one really is used to college football being played this late into January.

The regular season should be shortened to 11 games, there should be no conference championship games, and the CFP National Championship Game should be played on January 1 or 2. The CFP Playoffs should start that first Saturday in December and go from there.

Yep. It's a fall sport and the season should be over before these guys return to class after the Christmas break.

I agree with shortened regular season and then I’d do any home playoff games while school is still in so students don’t have to come back from break to attend games. Make semifinals and finals as bowl/destination games.

Ohio State vs Notre Dame.
Arguably the two biggest brands in College Football.
But yeah, nobody is going to watch.
So you're still in the denial phase ? or is it the anger phase ?
