Why couldn’t we have gotten this version of Goff in the playoffs?

Same with that stupid kicker they had. Zurlein. Dude made the 58 yard game winner look like a chip shot

And every big kick he’s had since then he always misses

Meh

Goff wasn’t why we lost that game. Greg Zuerlein scored 15 of their 26 points

Our offense wasn’t good enough that day

Classic Dennis Allen defense let the Rams go right down the field on their last 2 possessions: game tying FG in regulation and game winning FG in overtime.

Don't forget the Sean Payton offense that went limp after a 13-0 lead, which should have been 21-0 without the chokes in the red zone. And the special teams, which gave up a fake punt up 13 that totally woke up the Rams.

Dan Arnold with the dropped td.

The blowout would have been on. Goff would have cracked under pressure like yiu saw tonight.

He went up against a fellow beta in Drew Brees and so he didn't feel the need to turtle.

When he goes up against Alphas like Tom Brady and Jayden Daniels he absolutely turtles.

The worst play of that game (and of the entire Payton era) was Drew missing @cantguardmike on a simple slant that would have either been a TD or (more likely) a first and goal at the 3. We'd then kneel, kneel, and kick a 21 yard FG as time expired.

Instead, Brees threw the 3-yard slant into the dirt, lobbed the infamous ball to midget WR, and then another back breaking INT in overtime.
