My unit is a Huminbird Helix that connects with the Ipilot.
Is the "CoastMaster US" my best option. I mostly fish Venice, Hopedale and Cocodrie.
I currently have the navionics chip which is now owned by Garmin.
Any recommendations?

Pretty sure I have the HB Lakemaster Louisiana Delta card and it’s more than enough for my needs. I fish Delacroix, hopedale, Biloxi marsh, Bievenue and the Pontchartrain basin

Lakemaster covers the marsh and coastal waters pretty good?

I'm a fan of navionics. Its the best navigational aid from the ones I've used, albeit less useful for fishing than the satellite cards.

Standard mapping LA cards
Nvm not compatible with humm.

Pretty sure you want the hummingbird delta one card that is what I use for hopedale/delacroix/cocodrie. Not many mapping options for a bird compared to simrad/lowrance/garmin.

Yepp, it has never led me wrong and I fish shallow shite all the time. It’s always worth doing some google earth scouting before hand to find what bayous are navigable but the delta card does everything you need while on the water.

HB Lakemaster Louisiana Delta card is what I have in my Helix 12. There have been a couple recent threads regarding it. The aerial imagery is from 2015. Still better than the navionics though in my opinion.

I thought navionics updates their satellite imagery?

Don't know for sure. That comment is based on being on friends boats that run navionics charts in Venice and Grand Isle. Maybe they don't have the latest on their boats.
