These John Woo directed movies starring Chow Yun Fat have been unavailable for years. There were DVDs released years ago but nothing else and they have only been sporadically streaming. Woo has been attempting to purchase the rights from the company that bought them but they would only sale the entire 150+ film library.
This will include The Killer, Hard Boiled, A Better Tomorrow (trilogy) and City on Fire. Blurays and 4Ks coming plus streaming at a minimum on Shouts platform.

A Better Tomorrow, The Killer, and A Bullet in the Head (kind of a Hong Kong version of The Deer Hunter) are fantastic films and Hard Boiled is the best action movie ever made.

I've always wondered by The Killer and Hard Boiled didn't get more run (like streaming, 4k releases, etc.)
For a sizeable chunk of my formative years, the Killer was my favorite movie
