In my opinion a year for this kid makes a world of difference and millions of dollars difference.

I hope so... he could also be the 5th or 6th WR taken depending on what teams are looking fof.

Crabtree. Is all you need.

what I mean is that he was impressive, but not that impressive for 1st round status. With the QB situation looking much better next year, and the probability of greater team success, he has better chances if he stays, imo.

I personally think he loses money by leaving this year, but you're right that he should be a high draft pick.

Crabtree going as the #1 WR is a given. Then if teams want a guy to contribute at WR or in the return game, there are Derrick Williams, Maclin, and possibly Harvin. If Kenny Britt and Heyward-Bey run as well as they're expected, teams may very well reach for either of those two guys before LaFell. If D-Byrd runs a 4.32 like he did at LSU, someone could easily reach for him.

LaFell's Pro-Day numbers are going to be paramount, because rightfully or not, his hands will be questioned.

Glad your not helping the kid out. I would love for him to be on the team but I think he made the right choice.

He will not get any better draft status as he is now. He probably will not go any later than the top of the second rd or maybe end of first round but 2nd rd seems about right.

Nah he should go...weak WR year. He has the opportunity to be a 1st rounder, he should take it. I would love to have him back, though. He is one of our leaders.

he was like the #1 WR in the SEC

he put up similar stats to D Bowe's 4th year while he had lee throwing to him instead of JR

he'll get a multi million dollar contract, why would he want to come back? Duh cause he likes LSU, duh cause we're going to the zoo tomorrow.

Lafell is good but far from amazing and at least a third round pick and lafell's size alone makes him a way better projection for next year if he gets hands better route running ext.....But stanford doesn't have a large talent pool so what would you know about talent..

dez bryant next year will almost assuredly be the #1 WR, and byrant is a lot better than crabtree

That's a bold statement, right there. JJ will also be eligible after next year. Who is better...JJ or Dez? Or maybe even AJ Green?
