Has anyone watched this? I thought it was pretty good. That whale was holding a grudge. 
I haven’t read the book so I’m not sure how much liberty they took with the storyline.

Saw it in theaters when it came out and thought it was pretty good. Most people disagreed.

Aside from Hemsworth trying to do a Boston accent, i liked it. Solid cast.

I was fascinated with the entire whale hunting/harvesting business. Holy shite those guys were crazy.

Loved the book and looked forward to the movie. When it came to HBO several years ago, I tried to watch but turned it off after 20-30 minutes.
Maybe I’ll try to watch it now that my book memory has faded.
