I think that they feel Daboll is a good coach and want to give him “his” qb. Quite a dice roll.

It genuinely felt like Daboll wanted to be fired all season

Had the same thought.
Daboll has shown he can win, but I find it pretty odd they’d being back Schoen since he’s been getting dunked on all season.
