Hopefully it’s not Loomis hiring him… but yes, give him whatever he wants…

Ben Johnson already has stated that he won't coach for a franchise that wasn't aligned.

the Saints are a process of elimination option to him.

He’s the problem. He’s a GM that has the power and control that an owner has. Hopefully I’m wrong, but I don’t see the Gold digger getting rid of him, and until there is a reckoning inside the organization nothing will change.

Johnson is good no doubt, but that offense is absolutely loaded esp at oline. I wouldn't expect the same results here

I think the worst kept secret in the league is that he's going to Chicago

I could see him staying away from Chicago because you have the lions packers and vikings twice a year.

Yeah, speaking of teams that aren’t aligned. Revolving door at GM and coach. People want to crap on the saints for some reason, how many coaches and gms have they had over the past few decades?

The Lions offense is absolutely loaded. Montgomery, Gibbs, St. Brown, LaPorta, Williamson, Sewell, Jackson, Ragnow and Goff. I’m sure he’s a great coach. But I wonder how much is his coaching and how much is having the best overall talent in the NFL.

Also, does anyone know anything about the guy as a leader? Dennis Allen is one of the best coordinators in the NFL, but he’s one of the worst head coaches. How do we know Ben Johnson isn’t the offensive version of this, like a Matt Nagy or Zac Taylor?

Hiring the best assistant out there doesn’t equate to success as a head coach (Wade Phillips, Norv Turner, Dave Wandstatt, etc.)

No chance. Don’t even consider getting your hopes up. Every team will be willing to throw every dime at Himalayan we’re last in line(or maybe 2nd to last at best). He’s already stated he’s going to the one with the best vision. That ain’t us

I actually don’t think he picks them either. More guys like Breer are think he may prefer the jags over the bears.

People are crapping on the saints because we have a clown for a gm who was propped up by a hall of fame qb that we kinda lucked into and a near hall of fame coach for that timeframe. He’s proceeded to light our front office on fire and we will have a few years before we can put it out.

We don’t have either of those and it’s kinda back to business as usual for us.

Ben Johnson won’t take the saints job, or any other decent coach. They have to get rid of Micky Loomis. Mickey allowed Sean Payton to mortgage our entire future so he can be a winner, and when he lost his quarterback, and saw his cap numbers he bailed.
I think the Saints should hire Jon Gruden. He’s someone with enough guts to clean house, and start over, like he did with the Las Vegas Raiders. It can’t be any worse than the Cleveland Browns selling out to get Deshawn Watson. A known rapist with over a dozen victims. And don’t forget…the Saints went after him…Really Hard!!

Crazy that you choose to go to Chicago when you have your pick of the litter.
