Louisiana is not a High Tech location which a lot of these jobs are for, if you look on Linkedin/Zip Recruiter Plano Texas there's 360 H1B jobs

These are mostly high paying jobs:

salaries as high as $206,731 and as low as $91,880, the majority of H1B salaries currently range between $134,900 (25th percentile) to $183,800 (75th percentile) with top earners (90th percentile) making $197,638 annually in Plano.
